Events

GACA events are centered around gaining overall skills to play the game of golf and achieve progress over time. This includes driving range clinics, putting clinics, basic rules and etiquette of golf, and ultimately rounds of golf at local golf courses.  For students who have achieved basic golf skills, opportunities to expand into GACA sponsored local tournaments exist.


UPCOMING GOLF WORKSHOPS AND CLINICS:

All GACA events are free of charge and currently conducted at Arrowood Golf course in Oceanside and the Oceanside Driving range off I-78.

With current Covid pause, we recoommend contact PGA's First Tee Program.  Located at yoyr local golf clubs.

No previous experience required.

Equipment is provided for all events.


When signing up for an event on the EVENT REGISTRATION FORM, please list the age of your child, which event you are attending, and your child's familiarity with golf. Activities are geared for 8-18 years old. Proper golf attire is required (ie, no jeans, gym shorts, no shoes). This is a family participation event with focus on the children, so please feel free to join us during our events.


 

GACA has a combination of fundraising, clinics/workshops and activities scheduled for 2017. Please contact us via phone or e-mail if interested in participating.  All clinics and activities are free for families with a child with autism.
